Automotive Vehicle Management System

Developed and delivered a comprehensive Vehicle Management System (VMS), allowing the company to digitise its client facing operations.

8 weeks
500% customer retention

A large automotive fitment and service company operating numerous branches and franchises across Zambia and Malawi. The company approached us to digitise their client facing operations, which was previously being conducted on paper and carbon copy booklets, to a bespoke online system.

The first fitment centre to digitise its entire operations in Zambia and Malawi.

We built the VMS to digitise the entire workflow and vehicle lifecycle from the moment it enters a branch for the first time all the way to the vehicle being scrapped. All operations including vehicle safety checks, quotation generation, job cards, service reminders and service prediction were digitised. A management and reporting system was also developed allowing branch and senior management to better oversee day-to-day operations and allow extraction of data and reports for better operational planning.

Mobile and Tablet Optimisation

We optimised the program to be mobile and tablet friendly, allowing the mechanics and sales staff to be able to easily record information and create relevant documentations and templates. With the new system, data is shared across all branches over two countries instantaneously, management and head office have access to relevant data and information for better planning and oversight, while the sales team has a comprehensive, up-to- date customer database, improving sales, customer retention and customer relationship management.
